Name: John Brown
John Brown has work in the hosting industry for over eight years and has first hand experience of implementing Microsoft hosting Solutions for Hosted Exchange, Hosted Messaging and Collaboration and Windows-based Hosting. John also has extensive experience across the spectrum of Service Provider operations, from technical delivery, hosting architecture design and data-centre management through to product management and market positioning.
John currently hold the position of Global Hosting Projects Manager at Planet Technologies Inc and has the primary responsibility for the successful delivery of the organisations hosting implementation projects, ranging in size from small through to pan-European.
John also hold the Technical Directorship for New Era of Software Ltd. and is charged with the delivery of SaaS-based ERP solutions to various vertical markets based on the Microsoft Dynamic NAV product. He also delivers workshops on operational process streamlining and product strategy.
With a depth of experience in Microsofts hosting products and Solutions, John is seen as a trusted advisor to a number of hosters and internet-based application and service providers. He has also delivered very successful presentations at Microsoft regional hosting events and at the EMEA Hosting Club Executive Roundtable event held in Barcelona in late 2007.
John is based just south of Birmingham in the UK.
